La Breche Restaurant

A bit out of the way if you&rsquo;re staying in Amboise but worth the 5 minute drive from city center. Our waiter was extremely friendly and the food was excellent. It was a very hot day so we started with a very cold beer that hit the spot perfectly.

First-rate experiences all round. The ambience of the dining room very elegant in an understated way. The service was similar with experienced servers willing to share their knowledge upon asking. The food was phenomenal. The halibut was probably the finest I have ever eaten and the boeuf Rossini was another stand out. The cheese trolley was also formidable. We will surely return after the major makeover of the hotel is completed. One for your address book.

The location of the restaurant is good in Amboise.  The food is mediocre, nothing I would recommend but ok if you need to eat. We had the fish special and some caramelized cauliflower. The French onion soup was fairly poor. The ambiance was ok until a couple with a large dog was seated a few tables down, we got to eat with the sound of a dog lapping up water (this was inside on the 1st floor).

Tout est fait maison dans ce restaurant. Le chef semble mettre un point d&rsquo;honneur &agrave; imprimer sa patte jusqu&rsquo;au moindre d&eacute;tail. Cuisine raffin&eacute;e, m&eacute;lange des go&ucirc;ts et saveurs parfois surprenant. Un tr&egrave;s bon moment.

The hotel is a very good restaurant. The chef seems to put a point of honour to print his leg up to the least detail. refined kitchen, a mixture of tastes and tastes sometimes surprising. A very good moment.

Ottimo, oserei dire straordinario. Siamo stati molto bene, il cibo era perfetto: complimenti!!

I would say great, we were very good, the food was perfect: compliments!!

Tr&egrave;s agr&egrave;able et tr&egrave;s deliceux, pas de question!
